To make things clear, Liposculpture is different from Liposuction. Liposculpture is typically a more specific technique of liposuction. Meaning, Liposculpture uses a more defined techniques to remove body fats. Historically, Liposculpture was first performed by Dr. Giorgio Fischer in the year 1974. Later on, the method was known to be developed by Dr. Gustavo Leibaschoff.

The Liposculpture procedure is not completely different from Liposuction,  it typically uses a localized anesthesia thus recovery is faster compared to Liposuction which uses a general anesthesia. Furthermore, Liposculpture uses a less invasive procedure. Compared to Liposuction, it uses sound waves that produce vibration which is also called Vibrasound which eventually weakens fat cells, thus easy removal or draining of fats. Also, Liposuction is done by making 3-4 millimeter incision in the skin. Then, a thin tube or cannula is connected to a vacuum pump which then inserted using a “to-and-fro motion” for easy fat removal.

Usually, a Liposculpture procedure takes about 1 to 4 hours, though it solely depends on the areas of focus. Liposuction, on the other hand takes about an average of 2 hours depending on the amount of fats to be removed and the number of areas to be treated.

People under 40 years of age usually present better results for both procedures since their skin is tighter. Even so, the condition of the skin remains the greatest factor, despite of age.

Below are Surgeon's Fees as an approximation:
