Melanoma On The Rise Among Young Women In The US

A review of 30 years of surveillance and epidemiological records shows that incidence of melonoma, the most lethal form of skin cancer, is increasing among young Caucasian women but not among young men in the US. Skin Mole Analysis Using The Internet - A New Service By Opticom Data Research

Opticom Data Research performs skin mole analysis on mole images that are submitted through its Web site. The company uses its MoleSense software to analyze these moles and then an automated process compares the analysis results to 100s of skin cancer images available on the Internet. This is a new service by Opticom Data Research. A report is emailed to the individual who submitted the mole image.
