Some Top Brand Sunscreens Don’t Protect Says UK Consumer Watchdog
UK consumer watchdog Which? published research today that shows some top brand sunscreens don’t offer the level of protection they claim on the label.Which? tested 14 brands that claimed to have a sun protection factor (SPF) of 15 and three of them failed the test twice. To pass the test the sunscreens had to produce an average SPF of 12.5, the industry standard.
